Recent Activities and Engagements:

Creative Writing Training for Local Journalists:

We recently conducted a creative writing training for 20 local journalists, empowering them to communicate environmental issues and advocate for effective change through compelling storytelling.

Round Table Discussions:

We organized five round table discussions on the following key themes:

  • Policy and Regulatory Frameworks for Biodiversity Conservation
  • Conservation Benefits and Community Engagement
  • Human-Wildlife Conflict Mitigation
  • Payments for Ecosystem Services (PES)
  • Collaborative Approaches to Environmental Challenges
  • Mainstreaming Gender Equility and Social Inclusion (GESI) in Ecosystem Management

These discussions engaged relevant stakeholders, including government representatives, community members, social work students, and those likely to be impacted by environmental issues. The insights gathered are crucial for identifying priority areas and shaping our future actions.

Looking Forward:

We are now focused on designing and implementing stragegies based on the findings from these discussions. We aim to drive meaningful progress in ecosystem protection and climate adaption. This involves:

  • Developing targeted interventions to address indentified gaps and challanges.
  • Creating actionable plans for policy advocacy, community engagement, and conflict mitigation.
  • Enhancing collaborative efforts and integrating innovative approaches for climate adaptation.
